Windows setup note

Install Python before running the Class AA package.

Class AA is a local Windows software package. If your Windows PC does not already have Python installed, install Python first and enable the PATH option during setup.

1. Download Python 3.10 or 3.11 for WindowsUse the official Windows 64-bit Python installer. Avoid very old Python versions.

2. Check “Add python.exe to PATH”On the first Python installer screen, enable the checkbox named “Add python.exe to PATH” or “Add Python to PATH” before clicking Install Now.

3. Click “Install Now”After installation finishes, open Command Prompt and run python --version to confirm Windows can find Python.

4. Launch the packageOpen the delivered start document first. If the package includes a dependency installer such as INSTALL_DEPENDENCIES.bat, run it before launching the app.
